What are the old versions of Axapta/Dynamics AX and how can I find out which one I have installed?
The old versions of Axapta are Axapta 2.5, Axapta 3.0, Dynamics AX 4.0, Dynamics AX 2009, Dynamics AX 2012, the latest version of which dates from July 2014. It is currently known as Dynamics 365.
To find out which version of Axapta you are using, you can click the Help icon in the upper right corner of any Microsoft Dynamics AX page. Next, click on About Microsoft Dynamics AX and information about the installed version of Axapta will be displayed.
